FILEman button
Hi,
since there is a Users files menu entry, there should be a button My Files just like the one that appear under the JCE editor. Hence, users will be able to have a kind of download area and insert links to their files in theyr articles.
It's too bad that this button can't be customized. What the use of a root folder for in the FILEman entries if the FILE button can not take taht into account.

Hello JC,
I'm not 100% sure but this is probably what you are asking: http://help.joomlatools.com/article/136-settings#show-user-folder.
With the enabled the FILElink button will point to the corresponding user file folder allowing to upload and insert files from its personal private space.
