Add documents directly from content editor

Guys - I've searched through 301 results and the question isn't obviously answered so apologies if this is a repeat.

Will Docman 3 allow for a user with appropriate permissions to upload documents to Docman whilst editing a content page? Obviously at the moment they need to upload first then link to documents from a page they're editing.
