Changing Docman CSS

Hi,

I am trying to change the size of the text used for the docman buttons as they take up a lot of space on the page. I have been looking through theme.css to try to find any kind of class which would relate the button text size, but am unable to find this. My questions are:

1. Can button size be changed by just changing the text size used for the buttons?

2. If so, is this relating to Docman CSS file or the overall Joomla theme CSS files?

3. If not, is there anything I can do to make the buttons smaller?

4. Is there any guide for creating themes for Docman?

Thanks for your help.

Hi Robert, the specific css rule you are looking for can be found on line 203 in theme.css

.dm_taskbar li a {

display: block; padding: 4px 15px;

background: url(../images/button.png) #F8F8F8 bottom repeat-x;

-moz-border-radius: 7px; -webkit-border-radius: 7px;

}

You can make the button a bit smaller by changing padding.

We do not have a guide on how to make DOCman themes but I'm happy to help you with any questions you might have.
