Integrate DOCman and ownCloud

The ideal integration would be two things:

1) Login integration - the ability to use Joomla's login and ACL features in ownCloud. ownCloud has groups and users already, but they don't connect to Joomla in any way, yet. I am not sure if this would be a Joomla extension, or an ownCloud extension. (Other ownCloud users are looking for this integration already, on their forums.)

2) File integration. The ability for the Document Library for ownCloud and DOCman to be the exact same file structure would be key. In effect, DOCman's Library (or at least the portions they have access to) would be replicated down onto the user's local device, and changes made locally would be pushed back up to the server.
